Since 2015 — shaping engineers
The Computer Engineering Society (ComES) was founded to be the central hub of technical culture at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna. What began as a small study group has grown into one of Sri Lanka's most active undergraduate engineering societies.
ComES organises workshops, hackathons, seminars, and competitions that challenge students to think beyond the classroom. Our flagship event, AgenTrix, is a testament to our ambition — a national-level AI hackathon that draws talent from universities across the country.
Our mission is clear: to bridge academia and industry, and to prepare students for the rapidly evolving global tech landscape.
